Webex iPhone Volume Issues

Newer iPhones have a feature called "Attention Awareness". The intent of this feature is to make notifications sounds quieter when you are looking at the phone. The expection being that you need the phone to be loud when it is in your pocket, but quiet when it is infront of your face. This feature can cause unpredictable behavior with Webex notifications causing incoming call notifications to be silent or sound very quiet. If you are experiencing these sort of issues you can try turning it off.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Accessibility
  3. Select Face ID & Attention
  4. Turn off Attention Aware Features
