Updating Firmware on Draytek Router

First you will need the firmware file. This can be downloaded from the Draytek website at https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads or following a link we have sent you.
Extract the contents of the zip file. There are typically two files with the extensions ".all" and ".rst", the file you want is the ".all" one. Do not use the .rst file as it will clear all your router settings.


Using a PC on your network, login to the web interface of your Draytek Router. This is done by typing the IP of the router into a web browser. This is typically http://192.168.1.1


Using the menu on the left, navigate to System Maintenance -> Firmware Upgrade
Press the "Choose File" button.


Select the .all file you extracted from the zip file and press the Upgrade button


After the firmware updates, you will be prompted to reboot the router by pressing the reboot button. Do so.
It will take a few minutes for your router to restart and then you should be back online.
