Step-by-step instructions of how to disable SIP ALG on a Sky Hub

Step 1: Open a web browser like Chrome or Edge and in the address bar enter the IP address of your router. This is usually 192.168.0.1. You should see the "Summary Status" screen like the one below.

Step 2: Click on the Advanced tab and you will be prompted to login.

The username is "admin" and the password is your WiFi password. If you don't know your WiFi password, it is often found on a label on the back of the Sky Hub.

Step 3: Click on the ALG tab

Step 4: Uncheck the boxes for "Enable H323 Application Layer Gateway" and "Enable SIP Application Layer Gateway" and press "Apply".

You may get a warning at this point that what you are about to do may interfere with phone operations. This warning can be ignored, since having ALG on is what is likely causing your phone issues, you are now turning it off, which is the correct configuration for modern phone systems.

Your Sky Hub will now restart itself. This will cause your internet connect to drop for approximately 2 minutes. It will come back up on it's own and SIP ALG will now be turned off.
