If you’re looking to switch providers beware of cheap deals. If something looks too good to be true it often is. If they offer to buy you out of an existing contract – be wary - they can often put up the price of your contract midway through to cover it and there’s nothing you can do about it. Ofcom are looking into what can be done around hidden costs but that will take time and until legislation changes - read the small print. We know it’s time consuming but it could save you both time and money in the long-run.
